Sweet Tyson Clarke & Mandy Hatch are engaged.
We spent an afternoon in Discovery Park celebrating that very fact.
I’m so looking forward to their upcoming wedding in July.
Happy Tuesday.

I am 1 in 6,000,000,000.
It’s a reminder that I need every day.
Especially on those days when I’m feeling exceptionally self-centered. Which happens more often than I care to admit.
This time last year, I spent three incredible weeks in Papua New Guinea. Images like these remind me of what I love most about travel & what I love most about photography.
I am truly humbled by the beauty of the world & even more so, the gorgeous variety of the six billion people who occupy it.
& on those days when I wake up & my life seems incredibly important, my emotions extremely loud & all I can seem to see is myself, photos like these encourage me to remember just how big the world is.
& how blessed I am to get to play a (very small) supporting role in it.
To travel.

Tonight I came across an amazing reminder of what I love the most about photography.
More Papua New Guinea to come soon.
I like Sundays.
The house is (mostly) clean & the bunnies are (mostly) groomed. Easter is fast approaching & with it, their yearly portraits.
& this particular Sunday, the sky is mostly blue.
Which just seems really positive.
One of the very best things about having a camera & sometimes knowing how to use it, is the fact that I get to help darling friends make brilliant announcements like this one.
Mike & Abby are having twins.
Oh joy. Oh joy.
Happy Thursday.

Ah.
These days are what dreams are made of. A lovely day with two lovely people at Discovery Park in the Fall.
I’m so looking forward to sharing Elliot & Jenna’s wedding day with them in just a few short weeks.
Happy Monday.

What are the odds? In a city of 600,000 (and one in which I no longer live), I pass He Who Shall Not Be Named on the street. I’m thankful I didn’t...
On dark days, I go back and look at these photos and laugh at how utterly transparent I am and seriously question these photographers’ cropping...
Today, I decided to practice radical self-care. To stop being so ridiculously hard on my poor body. On the muscles and limbs and appendages that...
